If your Yorkshire Foundry piece fails due to a defect in materials or craftsmanship within 30 years of purchase, we will repair or replace it. No quibbling. No small print games. If something is not right, we will sort it.
Bronze develops a natural patina. The colour deepens and mellows with the weather. That is character, not a fault. Surface marks, weathering and tonal change are expected. Improper installation, misuse or deliberate damage are not covered.
We cast in AB2 marine-grade bronze, a hard-wearing alloy built for harsh environments. It is the same family of metal used in marine and industrial settings, because it resists corrosion and wear. We do not coat it. We let the metal be metal.
