Yorkshire Foundry
Last updated: 25 April 2026
At Yorkshire Foundry we believe in plain English. These terms cover what you can expect from us when you use this site, and what we expect from you. We have kept them as short and direct as we can while still covering the legal essentials. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@yorkshirefoundry.com.
Yorkshire Foundry is a trading name of Crucible Cycles Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 11697087), with its registered office at 88A South Bank Avenue, York YO23 1DP, United Kingdom. Throughout these terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean Yorkshire Foundry.
By using this site or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
If you are buying as a consumer in the UK or EU, nothing in these terms reduces your statutory consumer rights, including your right to cancel and your right to a refund or replacement for faulty goods. Our Refund and returns policy and our Privacy policy are linked at the foot of every page and form part of these terms.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that runs the site.
By using this site you confirm that you are old enough to form a binding contract in the country where you live.
You agree not to use the site or our products for anything unlawful, and not to upload or transmit anything that could damage the site or other people's devices, including viruses, worms, or any other malicious code.
You also agree not to scrape, copy, or otherwise harvest content from the site for resale or republication, and not to attempt to circumvent the site's security.
If you breach these terms, we may withdraw your access to the site without notice.
Prices and availability can change without notice. The price you pay is the price displayed at checkout when you place the order, including any applicable taxes and delivery charges.
We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order. We do this rarely, but reserve the right to do so. Reasons we might cancel or limit an order include a clear pricing or stock error, suspected fraud, or an order that appears to be placed for resale.
We display product photographs and dimensions as accurately as we can. Bronze finishes look slightly different on different screens and under different lighting. Tiny variations between cast pieces are part of how each one is made by hand. They are not faults.
Bespoke and commissioned pieces are governed by the brief we agree with you in writing before work begins. Once cast, bespoke pieces cannot be returned unless they arrive faulty or do not match the agreed brief.
Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund and returns policy.
We do our best to keep prices, descriptions, and stock information accurate. If a clear pricing or description error makes it onto the site, we may correct it and contact you about your order. If you have already paid for an order we cannot fulfil at the displayed price, we will offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or to cancel for a full refund.
The personal information you give us is handled in line with our Privacy policy.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you place an order, and to keep your contact details up to date so that we can fulfil and deliver your order.
Everything we have made on this site, including our product designs, photographs, written copy, illustrations, the Yorkshire Foundry name, and the Yorkshire Foundry logo, belongs to us. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or sell any of it without our prior written permission.
If we make a bespoke piece for you, the physical item is yours. The design itself (the wax pattern, the moulds, the digital files) remains our intellectual property, and we may use it in our own portfolio or in future production unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.
Where this site links to other websites, we do so for convenience only. We have no control over those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or for any loss you suffer from using them.
We try to keep the site working at all times, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, or free from errors. We may take the site down for maintenance or other reasons without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
You agree to indemnify us against any claim or demand made against us by a third party arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable by a court, the rest of the terms remain in force.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
